Leicester City news from LeicestershireLive as Michael Owen issues his prediction for the Manchester United game

Leicester City travel to Old Trafford on Saturday looking to put another dent in Manchester United’s top-four ambitions.

Ralf Rangnick’s side have fallen behind Arsenal in the race to secure a Champions League spot and really need three points against the Foxes as the Premier League returns following the international break. City are set for a mid-table finish but, unlike United, could still end the season with silverware having reached the last eight on the Europa Conference League.

Former Man United striker Michael Owen has issued his prediction for the game and believes Cristiano Ronaldo will be the difference-maker in a narrow home win over Brendan Rodgers' side.

“Speaking of inconsistent sides, Man United certainly fit that mould,” said Owen in his round of weekend predictions for BetVictor. “The defeat to Atletico Madrid [in the Champions League] was frustrating but they looked in good form in the win over Spurs. Ronaldo was brilliant against Spurs that day, and they’ll need him at his talismanic best.

“As for Leicester, they’ve got a big European clash against PSV to focus on this week. They don’t have a huge amount to play for, but they’ll want to not drop any standards. I don’t see this being a comfortable day at Old Trafford, but I do think they’ll edge it. 2-1 to United.”
